Practical information
Good to know on race day
Race number
Keep the race number without bending or damaging it. The back has a disposable timing chip (it may have a different number than the assigned one - it's not a problem), essential for recording the time. Wear the number in plain sight, throughout the race, so that the volunteers can recognise you as participants.
Damage to the race number or its absence means disqualification.
Competition area
P
Car park
The land is made available by the Bușteni City Hall – the parking lot is arranged for the Kalinderu ski slope. Personal vehicles can be parked in the area; please follow the authorities’ and volunteers’ instructions.
🎒
Wardrobe
There is the possibility of leaving a rucksack/backpack, but we recommend, as much as possible, storing it in the car.
👕
Changing tent
Two tents (male and female) are available for changing before or after the event. Space is limited - please be understanding.
🚻
Toilets
There will be at least 10 public toilets.
Trail marking
All routes will be marked with custom hazard tape Bușteni Ultra Race also has directional arrows (the colours correspond to those on the race number). There will also be signposts with an arrow, the race colour and the race name. The race marking doubles up, as far as possible, as the tourist markings. Details will be announced during race week and at the technical briefing.
In the forest there are also other markings (permanent trails, coloured spray, etc.). Pay attention and follow only the marking for your journey.
